Freedom Flex
What it is
The Freedom Flex is a Chase card earning Ultimate Rewards points. For most, its value is mostly up front in the welcome bonus rather than ongoing perks. The no-fee workhorse of the Chase Freedom line — rotating 5% categories you activate each quarter, with the occasional elevated-category promo on top. Pairs with a Sapphire to turn its cash back into transferable points.
