Freedom Flex
What it is
The Freedom Flex is a Chase card earning Ultimate Rewards points. It's mainly a sign-up-bonus play: earn the bonus, then keep or close. The no-fee workhorse of the Chase Freedom line -- rotating 5% categories you activate each quarter, with the occasional limited-time elevated-category promo on top, plus cell phone protection when you pay your phone bill with it.
